What youll be doing

As an FTTP Install Engineer, youll play a key role in connecting homes and businesses to GoFibres full fibre network. Working independently and alongside colleagues, youll be responsible for delivering safe, professional and high-quality installations from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and commissioning FTTP broadband services
• Fibre cabling, blowing, splicing and termination activities
• Testing and fault-finding using OTDR and fibre testing equipment
• Working on overhead and underground PIA networks
• Completing site surveys and installation documentation
• Maintaining high Health & Safety standards at all times
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience during every visit
• Ensuring all work is completed to company and industry standards

What were looking for

Were looking for someone who already has hands-on experience within fibre installation and can confidently work in both customer-facing and network environments.

Youll ideally have:

• Experience working on FTTP networks
• Fibre splicing and testing experience
• Knowledge of overhead and underground network installation
• Experience using OTDR and fibre testing equipment
• Working at Height experience
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Great communication and customer service skills

Essential Qualifications

• Full UK Driving License
• NRSWA Accreditation
• SA001 Certification
• SA002 Certification
