Global Data Center Capacity Manager

Location: Poland, Serbia, Georgia, cy, Remote

Company Description

The world’s digital experiences run on something invisible: the infrastructure and software that keep them fast, reliable, and secure. At Gcore, you’ll help design and deliver that foundation for an AI-driven world.

We’re a global provider of infrastructure and software solutions for AI, cloud, network, and security, powering everything from real-time communication and streaming to enterprise AI and secure web applications. With 210+ edge locations, 50+ cloud regions, and thousands of GPUs, your work here can reach users and businesses across the globe.

You’ll collaborate with leading technology partners such as Intel, NVIDIA, Dell, and Equinix, and work on platforms that power digital products used around the world. Our vision is simple: to connect the world to AI, anywhere, anytime.

Want to work on technology that goes beyond a single product or industry? Join a global team of 550+ professionals building infrastructure and software that supports the entire digital ecosystem.

We are currently looking for a Global Data Center Capacity Manager to help secure the infrastructure required for the continued growth of our global cloud and AI platforms.

The role will sit within the Procurement department and report directly to the Head of Procurement, working closely with Capacity Planning, Engineering, Network, Finance and Legal.

This is not a traditional procurement role. It is a highly market-facing position focused on ensuring we have early visibility and access to available and upcoming data center capacity before it becomes an urgent requirement.

You will build relationships across the global data center ecosystem, proactively identify capacity opportunities and maintain market intelligence, bringing qualified opportunities into the wider Procurement process for commercial negotiation and contracting.

We are looking for someone who already knows the data center market, understands how capacity gets developed and allocated, and has the relationships to identify opportunities that may never reach a conventional RFP.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with data center operators, developers, brokers and other infrastructure partners.
  • Proactively identify available and upcoming data center capacity across our target
    markets.
  • Develop early intelligence on new developments, expansions, power availability,
capacity releases and other market opportunities.
  • Maintain a structured pipeline of current and future capacity, including MW availability, RFS dates, density, cooling capabilities, connectivity and expansion potential.
  • Identify off-market and early-stage opportunities before they become broadly marketed.
  • Perform initial qualification of potential sites and capacity opportunities.
  • Work with Engineering and Network teams to determine whether opportunities can support our cloud and high-density AI infrastructure.
  • Work with Capacity Planning to translate future demand into a forward-looking capacity pipeline.
  • Engage providers early to understand capacity, timelines and indicative commercial conditions.
  • Work closely with the wider Procurement team to convert qualified opportunities into competitive sourcing and negotiation strategies.
  • Support commercial negotiations with market intelligence, alternative capacity options and established provider relationships.
  • Where appropriate, explore capacity reservations, expansion rights, powered shells, build-to-suit developments and other strategic infrastructure opportunities.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of Gcores data center sourcing and supplier strategy.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience in the data center, cloud infrastructure or digital infrastructure industry.
  • An established network within the data center ecosystem, particularly among operators, developers, brokers or infrastructure partners.
  • Experience identifying, sourcing, developing or selling data center capacity.
  • Good understanding of wholesale and hyperscale colocation markets.
  • Working knowledge of critical power, rack density, cooling, redundancy, PUE, connectivity and infrastructure delivery timelines.
  • Understanding of high-density cloud and GPU infrastructure requirements.
  • Strong commercial judgement and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to independently develop opportunities across multiple markets and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively across Procurement, technical and business functions and
translate market opportunities into actionable sourcing opportunities.

Experience within a neocloud, hyperscaler, data center operator, developer or specialist data center advisory/brokerage business would be particularly relevant.

What success looks like
When a new infrastructure requirement arises, we should already know where suitable capacity is available, who controls it, when it can be delivered and what it will take to secure it.

You will help us move from reactive capacity sourcing towards a continuous global pipeline of infrastructure opportunities - giving Gcore earlier access to capacity, greater optionality and a stronger position when we enter commercial negotiations.
