HSE Specialist

Location: BRNO, BRNO MĚSTO, Czech Republic; Hybrid

The HSE Specialist supports our company in ensuring of HSE and compliance with applicable HSE legislation and company standards. Locations included are R&D office Campus building, testing facility Turbo Test Lab in Brno and Offices located in Prague.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support, expertise and mentoring for implementation of all applicable statutory such as Czech Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, Fire Safety Regulations and Loss Prevention Regulations, and Corporate Standards such as Environmental Regulations, HSE Policy, Programs and Procedures
• Prepare appropriate training materials and communications and participate on training execution
• Drive and support that all HSE related accidents are properly compiled and corrective actions processed
• Ensure reporting of HSE metrics
• Prepare and lead site through its Corporate and other HSE Audits (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001)
• Participate in the implementation and improvements for continuous improvement based on GEM – Garrett Excellence Model
• Ensure regular inspections of workplaces, Gemba walks and coaching
• Development of procedures, forms and managing of HSE Documentation

Requirements:

• University Degree in Environmental, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry or a related field
• Experience with risk management analysis
• Strong experience in HSE, knowledge and understanding for CZ HSE
• HSE Authorized person according to the law 309/2006 is required as well as ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 - you will prepare and lead Corporate and other HSE Audits
• Familiarity with a corporate environment is a plus
• Knowledge of English and Czech languages for daily reading, speaking & writing and presenting (e.g. HSE trainings)
