Our kitchen is built around high standards, strong teamwork and a genuine passion for food. We are now looking for an experienced Breakfast Chef at Chef de Partie level to join our team and take an important role in our morning operation.

About the role

As Breakfast Chef / Chef de Partie at Emberlin, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering our breakfast service to a consistently high standard.

You will work independently within your area while being part of the wider kitchen team, ensuring that preparation, cooking and presentation are carried out with precision and attention to detail.

The role is ideal for an experienced and confident Chef who genuinely enjoys early mornings and the rhythm of breakfast service. You are organised, efficient and take ownership of your work while maintaining high standards, even during busy periods.

Alongside breakfast service, you will support preparations for the day ahead and work closely with the rest of the kitchen team as the operation transitions from breakfast into lunch.

The successful candidate will

• Have previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a quality-driven kitchen

• Ideally have experience from breakfast service, à la carte or both

• Be confident working independently and taking ownership of your area

• Enjoy early mornings and a daytime-focused working schedule

• Be organised, reliable and comfortable working at a fast pace

• Have strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredient handling

• Have a keen eye for taste, quality and presentation

• Maintain consistently high standards of hygiene and organisation

• Be a positive and collaborative team player

• Have a genuine passion for cooking and quality ingredients
