THE HOKUS PLATFORM, an FNZ Company, is a digital B2B solution, developed in SaaS mode, that operates in the life insurance industry.

The SAAS platform (called THE HOKUS PLATFORM) connects wealth managers (private bankers, insurance brokers) and life insurance companies. This platform aims to be the daily tool for private bankers by dematerializing part of their activity related to the management of life insurance contracts

We also design, develop and maintain front-end and administration systems for life insurance companies. This team is currently developing systems for two major life insurancecompanies.

THE HOKUS PLATFORM currently operates from 4 countries: Luxembourg, France, Ireland and Spain.

The Software engineer responsibilities

Our growing Engineering team is looking for Software Engineers to help deliver the next generation of our platform.

If you are an IT passionate, love coding (in any object-oriented language) and finding solutions to complex problems, please reach out. Our multi-cultural team is eager to welcome new innovative persons.

• Analyse, design and develop tests to build robust new features in an agile environment.

• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing and new systems and platforms.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.

• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Work alongside other engineers/scientists on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.

Is it you we’re looking for?

We are looking for engineers to help us scale our team from different perspectives (product, tech, and internal organization-wise):

- You’ll be able to participate into projects involving several engineers. Yes, you’ll have the opportunity to support other engineers.

- Youll be able to contribute to hiring your future coworkers and shape candidates hiring experience (improving our technical assessment process etc...)

You would be a good fit at The Hokus Platform if most of this sounds like you:

• Experience working with Smalltalk or as software engineer for the life insurance sector is required.

• Hands-on experience working with technologies.

• Strong analytical skills

• Team spirit

• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.

• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

• Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Master’s degree in engineering, PHD Degree in science or equivalent experience.

• English fluent: working language.

• French or Italian is a plus.
