Your expertise will help us build and maintain critical infrastructure while you build your own career alongside professionals who value both technical excellence and supporting each other every shift. 

FLINT is seeking Journeyperson B-Pressure Hand Welders for a permanent shop position in Whitecourt, AB. starting in October. In this position, you will enjoy a M-F schedule, 40-hour work weeks and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a shop or maintenance. 
• Valid Journeyperson Welder certificate/ticket. 
• Possess the mandatory welding tickets: 
  • B-Pressure 
  • CWB 
• Stainless experience is an asset but not required.
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions. 
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. 
• Must have own reliable transportation to site. 
• Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits. 

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
