The Lead Procurement Manager will drive execution and operational workflows for EvenUps technology and vendor ecosystem, managing the end-to-end purchasing processes for SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and IT services. You will operate at the center of our operational scaling, balancing cost optimization with the performance requirements of our teams to ensure we maintain high-velocity growth without compromising infrastructure reliability.
What You’ll Do:
Procurement Function Strategy - Maintain, improve, and enforce clear purchasing workflows, and operational spending guardrails.
Category Management - Own high-value enterprise technology agreements across SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and corporate IT services, optimizing total cost of ownership.
Strategic Sourcing & RFPs - Spearhead vendor selections and RFP processes, performing detailed total-cost analysis, security evaluation, and commercial benchmarking.
Contract Negotiation & Sourcing - Lead commercial negotiations for key SaaS and IT contracts in alignment with internal stakeholder priorities.
Spend Management & Cost Optimization - Partner closely with FP&A, IT, and EPD leadership to conduct routine spend audits, eliminate software overlap, optimize license allocation, and reduce technical debt.
Process & Tooling Standardization - Evaluate, implement, and maintain procurement systems (e.g., Zip, Ramp) to increase cross-functional visibility.
Cross-Functional Alignment - Collaborate with all teams to ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, data protection regulations, and audit requirements.
Possible Success Metrics (KPIs) - Achieve measurable total cost savings across SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and IT services through license optimization, vendor renegotiations, contract renewal velocity, % of Vendors using PO’s, % of Vendors submitting electronic invoices, and software consolidation.
Suggested Milestones - Audit current vendor spend, establish standardized procurement workflows via tools like Zip or Ramp, and right-size cross-departmental software licenses to eliminate waste within 90 to 180 days.
What We Look For:
7+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management within high-growth technology or vertical SaaS environments.
2+ years of cross-functional project lead experience.
Proven track record of refining and scaling procurement processes within a fast-paced technology or vertical SaaS environment.
