Manufacturing Lab Technician

What You’ll Do at Electrified Thermal

• Mix, pour, vibrate, cure, fire, QC, and package refractory E-brick heater elements.  

• Prepare Quality Assurance/Control samples with each batch. 

• Document process parameters as directed by process and manufacturing engineers. 

• Assist with equipment maintenance, improvements, and repair. 

• Prepare refractory samples for testing, including cutting, drilling, and grinding.  

• Organize and catalog samples, tools, and equipment. 

• Work with engineering staff to revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processes and lab equipment 

 

Travel: No travel is anticipated for this role.

What You’ll Bring to Electrified Thermal:

• An enthusiastic approach and resilience in the face of challenging technical problems 

• Experience with hands-on work in a professional or educational setting, such as lab work, production, or construction.  

• Attention to detail and strong communication skills 

• Demonstrated commitment to adhering to workplace safety procedures and contributing to safety culture  

• Ability to independently execute on complex tasks with a high degree of reliability  

• Comfort working with your hands; comfort working with power tools or heavy machinery. 

• An OSHA-approved stand-up forklift certification, or, a willingness to obtain one in on-the-job training
