Job Summary
ETSU Infectious Diseases is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused 340B Outpatient Pharmacist to support our mission of providing high-quality, accessible care to underserved communities. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day administration of the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program while working closely with providers, pharmacy staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure compliance, optimize medication therapy, and improve patient access to affordable medications. The ideal candidate is committed to regulatory excellence, collaborative practice, and delivering exceptional patient care while maximizing 340B program resources to achieve positive health outcomes for uninsured, underinsured, and vulnerable populations.

- Cultural sensitivity and ability to build trust with diverse patient populations.
- Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development (e.g., Apexus 340B University training, board certification in ambulatory care).
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
- An active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Tennessee.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certification (BCACP, BCPS).
- 2+ years of outpatient or ambulatory care pharmacy experience, preferably in a community health, FQHC, or safety-net setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the 340B Drug Pricing Program (strongly preferred; Apexus 340B University certification a plus).
- Experience with in-house or contract pharmacy operations and dispensing workflows.
- Strong understanding of HRSA regulations, patient eligibility criteria, and compliance requirements for FQHCs.
- Proficiency with pharmacy software, EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), split-billing tools, and Microsoft Office.
