Civil Support - Railways

Location: Delhi, Delhi, India

Role: Railway Construction – OHE Work

Department: CEM GROWTH & EXPANSION PROJECTS

Location: DBL HO

Reporting to: Railway Siding Project Head (HO)

Experience: 

• Minimum 5 years construction experience in Railway Siding OHE Projects

• Good Experience of OHE works Tendering , Vendor Selection , Planning , Drawing Review , Execution at site for railway Sidings 

• Good knowledge of Railway procedures, TRD Approval Process and RDSO Specifications 

• Finalization of BOQ, Specification, Tender, Specifications, time line and resources etc.

• Regular site visit for coordinating execution work

• Review of OHE & General Electrical drawings i.e. Sectional cum Working Diagram , Lay Out Plan, SSP Building , Feeder Line , Cross Section Drawing for OHE foundation as per railway requirement

• Experience of field execution of OHE works which includes OHE foundation construction, Structure Erection, Bracket Assembly and erection, Cable erection etc.

• Coordination with Engineering Consultant, PMC and execution contractor for EIG approvals, Charging etc.

• Meeting with IR as and when required including joining IR inspection teams for all projects

• Ensure Site construction activities complying to Scope, Timeline, Budget, Quality and Safety

• Close Coordination with Site teams to expedite work for timely completion

• Forecast Contract BOQ quantities and arrange for timely amendment of BOQ’s

• Perform regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety regulations and standards

• Make frequent and dedicated visits to all sites to ensure work execution on ground as per requirements.

• Effective communication skills both written and verbal with ability to convey technical information’s

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 

• Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel, Power point etc.

Qualification: Graduate in Electrical Engineering
