THE OPPORTUNITY

Cyeras website is one of the highest-traffic touchpoints a prospect, customer, or analyst has with our story — hundreds of thousands of visitors a month — and as we scale toward $1B+ in ARR, its earned a dedicated, strategic owner who can take it from strong to best-in-class. Conversion, visitor identification, retargeting, chat, and the handoffs between them are ready for one person to bring together into a single, coherent growth engine.

Were hiring a Director of Web Strategy to lead exactly that: a single, dedicated owner for how the website converts visitors into pipeline, how we identify and re-engage visitors who dont convert on the first visit, and how chat, SEO/AEO, and paid media connect into one coherent experience. This is a hands-on, data-driven role reporting into marketing leadership, with real budget and roadmap ownership from day one.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conversion rate optimization. Own the CRO roadmap for cyera.com — personalization on high-value pages, trust and proof signals on high-intent pages (demo, pricing), and a continuous testing program that moves our conversion rate toward best-in-class benchmarks for the category.
• Visitor identification & retargeting. Own the strategy for profiling anonymous site traffic and converting that insight into a real retargeting motion — in partnership with our media agency — while staying ahead of cookie-deprecation and consent requirements.
• Chat & digital experience. Own the performance of our website chat experience as a core conversion and qualification channel.
• Web analytics & reporting. Be the single source of truth on core web KPIs — unique visitors, conversion, visitor growth, page time, demo requests, and chat performance — and report on them with the rigor this team expects.
• Cross-functional integration. Partner with our in-house web developer, SEO/AEO team, paid media, and brand/design to keep the sites roadmap coherent rather than a queue of one-off requests.
• Platform story on the web. Make sure the site experience reflects Cyera as an integrated AI Trust platform — not three disconnected products — from nav to conversion path.

What Success Looks Like

In the first 90 days, youve audited the current site experience end-to-end, stood up a CRO roadmap, and can answer — with data — how much of our traffic we identify and retarget today.

By the end of year one, Cyera website is recognized as industry-best for both brand and a rich digital experience, website conversion has moved meaningfully against an ambitious, benchmarked target; the visitor-to-pipeline journey (identification, retargeting, chat, conversion) runs as one coordinated motion instead of disconnected pieces; and the website is recognized across the company as a measurable pipeline-driving asset.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years leading web strategy, growth, and CRO for an enterprise B2B company, ideally in cybersecurity or another technical, sales-assisted category.
• Deep, hands-on CRO expertise — testing programs, personalization, funnel diagnosis — with real, attributable results you can show.
• Experience building or running a visitor identification and retargeting motion, including first-party data and consent-based approaches as third-party cookies decline.
• Working fluency in SEO and AEO/GEO fundamentals, with experience directing specialized agencies rather than needing to be the expert yourself.
• Comfort managing or partnering closely with a web developer/technical resource to prioritize a fast-moving roadmap.
• A metrics-first operating style — you default to data over opinion, and you can defend a roadmap with numbers.
• Experience partnering with demand generation, paid media, and brand teams toward shared pipeline goals.



COMPENSATION INFORMATION: 

The range represents total compensation, and may include incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.

The compensation range represents Cyera’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Cyera may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in Cyera’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Cyera’s business and other operational considerations.

Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
