Job Summary:

Technical specialist and primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute complex repairs to generators and components at the customer’s site.

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic (Remote - Idaho, Wyoming) to join our Distribution Business in (Remote - Idaho, Wyoming).

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Completing repair activities on generators or components 
• Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of service
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

As an individual contributor and technical specialist, serves as the primary customer support contact at the customer site. Performs complex to highly complex diagnostics, troubleshooting, moderately complex repairs, rebuilds, and preventative maintenance on all power generation systems, parts, and components. May provide technical guidance to less experienced Technicians. Adheres to established procedures and guidelines to enhance service workshop knowledge and skills.
