Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations. This role will be responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, performing reconciliations, reviewing documentation, and supporting reporting activities.

The ideal candidate has experience working with high-volume financial transactions and detailed supporting documentation. Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review financial transactions, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile operational and accounting records and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting and month-end close.
• Coordinate with internal teams to verify transaction details and documentation.
• Manage multiple transactions, accounts, and deadlines with accuracy.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, billing, bookkeeping, or financial operations.
• Experience processing, reviewing, and reconciling high-volume financial transactions.
• Familiarity with accounting software and business management systems; experience with QuickBooks or similar platforms is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data.
• High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential information independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.

Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:

Internet Connection:

• Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
• Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.
• Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.

• Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:
• Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.
• A minimum of 8 GB RAM.
• Backup Device:
• Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
• Must be functional during power interruptions.
• A functioning webcam.
• A noise-canceling USB headset.
• A quiet, dedicated home office space.
