About Clipboard

Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.

Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.

The Opportunity

We’re growing our marketing team to support more nurses, workplaces, and patients than ever before.

We’re looking for an energetic generalist excited to dig into all things marketing. You’ll work directly with our Head of Marketing on everything from iterating on landing pages, to designing trade show booths and collateral, to crafting the messaging that millions of nurses see.

If you’re early in your career and want to get deep marketing experience at a fast growing, well funded start-up, this role is for you.

Some Things Youll Own

  1. Landing Page Optimization: As we run more and more ads for our various lines of business, we need to ensure the landing pages we direct people to actually convert. You’ll own designing these pages, implementing them, and AB testing them, closely monitoring the results and iterating on what you learn.

  2. Workplace Messaging: Each day we ship new features that support workplaces. You’ll support our sales team in communicating critical messaging to our customers. This could mean building out pages on our website, creating email awareness campaigns, or assets like one-pagers our teams can distribute.

  3. Implementing Campaigns: We routinely run targeted campaigns to recruit both new workers and workplaces. You’ll own the execution, be it designing billboards, creating care-packages for workplaces, or shipping mailers.

In addition, you’ll be a crucial part of the marketing team, pushing the team’s thinking and supporting on ad-hoc projects that drive the company forward.

Who Were Looking For

You have 0-2 years of marketing experience. We’re not looking for an expert, but rather someone starting in their career who’s excited to dive into all aspects of the world of marketing.

You learn fast. You’ll quickly go deep on topics like web-design, paid-media strategy, and AI coding tools. None of this should feel intimidating. It should feel fun.

You’re humble. You know what you know, and more importantly, what you don’t. When you don’t know something, you’re honest about it and sprint to learn it.

You understand audience psychology and storytelling. You think about whos on the other end of what you create, what they care about, what theyre skeptical of, and what will make them feel seen.

You have exceptional judgement. You understand what looks good and sounds good, what doesn’t, and why. You can create assets that resonate with your audience.

You use AI tools well. Not as a replacement for your thinking, but as an accelerant. You know what theyre good at, where they fall down, and how to keep your work from sounding like everyone elses AI slop.

Nice-to-haves

  • Youve created social media content that drove real results (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn)

  • You’re experienced in Figma and other design tools

  • You’ve designed things for real people, had them not work, and had to iterate on your learnings

The Details

  • Location: Remote, US-based

  • Process: Resume/Work Review → Interview with Sr. Growth Manager → Case study → Interview with Head of Marketing → Culture & Values Interview
