Senior Growth Product Manager

Location: Remote (United States)

Department: Customer Experience (CX)

About the role

You own the subscription funnel from the moment a user encounters Centr through their first 30 days of paid usage. Web pages between ad click and trial start, in-app onboarding through first workout, offer architecture at trial end, cancellation, and the in-app surfaces that drive equipment upsell once theyre a subscriber. Youll work next to the Sr. Ecom Manager (storefront, CRM, bundle), our growth agency (paid acquisition), and the Core UX product team (long-term in-app experience).

A dedicated full-stack web engineer is paired to you, and the two of you ship the web funnel autonomously. Paywalls and pricing iterate via RevenueCat config without dev tickets. Native mobile work routes through Core UX engineering, so part of your job is making the case for prioritization rather than assuming the capacity.

We move these numbers by building experiences worth converting on. Our read is that the funnel underperforms because the experience does, not because we havent pushed hard enough. Wed rather earn a subscription than trap someone into one. Get the experience right and the numbers follow.

What youll own

  • Web subscription onboarding. Signup, assessment, paywall, offer, trial activation. Closing the conversion gap between web and mobile is a first-90-days priority.
  • QR-to-app landing. The post-scan experience for retail equipment buyers (Costco, Academy) and bundle buyers.
  • In-app activation. Install through day 7. Onboarding flow, day-0/1/3 nudges, push, in-app engagement during trial.
  • Trial-to-paid conversion. Offer architecture at trial end, in-app re-engagement, cancellation on web and in-app, win-back surfaces inside the product.
  • Pricing and packaging. Plan architecture across iOS, Android, and web. Differentiated offers for new vs. returning vs. lapsed users.
  • In-app equipment upsell. The shopping feature, placement, and surfacing logic that turns subscribers into bundle and equipment buyers.

What success looks like

  • Web trial conversion closes a meaningful share of the gap to mobile
  • iOS install → paid conversion improves materially against todays baseline
  • A QR-to-app flow were excited to point Costco and Academy traffic at
  • An in-app equipment upsell surface producing measurable attach from existing subscribers
  • A cancellation flow that recovers a respectable share of would-be churners
  • CAC payback shortened enough that paid spend can scale with confidence

You should apply if

  • Youve owned a subscription funnel end-to-end and moved trial-to-paid at consumer scale
  • Youve shipped against both mobile (iOS/Android) and web subscription flows and understand why they behave differently
  • You know where the landmines are in RevenueCat, App Store / Play Store, Stripe, and Recharge
  • You believe the best growth work is indistinguishable from the best product work. You move trial-to-paid by making the trial deliver value, not by hiding the cancel button
  • Youre effective at influencing roadmaps you dont own (a meaningful chunk of your highest-leverage work lives inside the Core UX roadmap)
  • You spend more time in Claude Code than anyone you know

This might not be the right fit if

  • Your experience is all with mature, well-instrumented funnels. Building one from zero is a different muscle, and this role is mostly the zero-to-one kind
  • You love CRO and landing-page work but dont want to own pricing, paywalls, and trial design alongside it
  • Youd rather hit targets with pressure tactics than earn them through the experience
  • You want to own strategy and hand off execution. Here youd do both
  • You want a proven playbook to run. Were still writing ours, and thats the fun of it

Why this role

Centrs subscription business has the brand, the content, the equipment, and the HYROX tailwind. What its missing is someone to own the funnel that ties them together. If building that sounds like the best problem you could be working on, wed like to meet you.

Centr, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values inclusion. Centr, LLC welcomes individuals of all backgrounds and experiences to apply.

About the Company

Welcome to Centr - The Home of Strength

Centr is a performance fitness platform founded by Chris Hemsworth. We sell connected fitness equipment, digital training subscriptions, and bundles that combine both. Were the official equipment provider for HYROX.

Our subscription business is the engine, and the funnel doesnt yet deliver. Mobile converts respectably; web converts far below it. Paid acquisition costs more than a product this good should have to spend. And the biggest opportunity is hiding in plain sight: equipment buyers, customers who already paid us hundreds or thousands of dollars and unlocked a free trial as part of their purchase, convert at a fraction of other channels. The people who signaled the highest intent are opportunities were losing. Were not asking you to optimize a mature funnel. Were asking you to build one.
