Job Purpose and Impact

The purpose of the Weighbridge Operator is to operate and maintain Weighbridge in an organised and efficient manner and accurately complete production records. Interaction and effective communication with other production staff, truck drivers and supervisors. 

Key Accountabilities

• Weighing and documentation of all site vehicles
• Familiar with the bailey, delta V and weigh master computer systems.
• Inspection of incoming meal trucks for cleanliness and seals being intact on oil trucks.
• Sampling and testing of incoming seed trucks (GM testing, density and moisture) and tanks
• Liaise with all departments regarding truck movements (inc. CASC Supply Chain Teams)
• Induction of new truck drivers (inducting as required) and ensuring drivers are complying to site safety and PPE 
  standards 
• Operate all equipment associated with tanker truck loading and unloading.
• Inspection of incoming trucks for cleanliness and seals being intact on oil trucks.
• Gather Samples and complete master sanitation schedule checklists and tasks to maintain food safety

• Computer literate including being able to enter and retrieve data accurately.
