Summary: Arc Services is seeking qualified Heat Treaters to support critical maintenance, outage, and construction projects throughout the United States. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of heat treatment equipment to perform preheating, post-weld heat treatment (PWHT), and controlled heating processes in accordance with customer specifications, industry codes, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate has experience working in industrial, power generation, or nuclear environments, demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and quality, and is willing to travel extensively to support projects nationwide.

Responsibilities: 

• Unload and Load equipment for transportation to the work area and demobilizing from the job site. 

• Label cables and equipment, moving them around site as required. 

• Following TC Map for TC requirements, pad placement, customer specific requirements, etc. 

• Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, PPE requirements, etc. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

• Experience working in an industrial setting with industrial, or nuclear experience considered an asset. 

• Understanding of a variety of code requirements such as but not limited to, AWS D10.10, or AWS D10.22 is a plus.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a team. 

• Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel extensively and work variable hours. 

• Able to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required by our customers. 

• TWIC card a plus. 

Physical Requirements: Employees must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

• Perform sustained physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing, and working extended shifts

• Lift, carry, push, and pull tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and work in varied body positions

• Work at heights and in confined or restricted spaces

• Work in outdoor and indoor environments under varying weather and site conditions

• Work on uneven, slippery, or rough terrain in active industrial or construction settings

• Wear required personal protective equipment, including fall protection and respiratory protection when required

• Maintain situational awareness and communicate effectively to work safely around moving equipment and hazards
