About the Role

Your Impact

Youll own the quality and direction of complex healthcare AI programs, translating customer objectives into medical data strategies. Your expertise will establish the standards for how data is designed, evaluated, and delivered. 

Across Appens global delivery organization, youll turn those standards into repeatable approaches, methodologies, and capabilities that support future healthcare AI programs and customer opportunities. 

Success in this role will create healthcare projects that meet customer and clinical standards, strong customer outcomes, and a growing healthcare data capability that Appen can apply across its portfolio.

What You Bring

2+ years in clinical practice, healthcare, medical research, or life sciences, with a track record of leading complex projects or multidisciplinary teams.
Strong stakeholder-management skills with the ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clear specifications.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment where priorities and AI capabilities evolve quickly. 

Nice to Have

Experience managing clinicians, researchers, or other specialist professional communities.
Familiarity with healthcare data privacy, security, and responsible AI governance.
Experience developing or reviewing medical datasets, annotation guidelines, clinical taxonomies, or evaluation criteria.
Exposure to AI companies, frontier AI labs, or healthcare technology organizations.
