The RF/Microwave Amplifier MMIC Design Group is seeking an Amplifier MMIC Design Engineer for developing world class RF/Microwave/Millimeter-wave GaAs and GaN LNA/Driver Amplifier/Power Amplifier MMICs.
Qualifications:
Experience with GaAs and/or GaN semiconductor technologies, MMIC design and layout, electro-magnetic simulation, thermal analysis and industry standard EDA tools like ADS and Momentum/RFPro/Sonnet.
MSEE/PhD degree in EE with background in RF/microwave engineering, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience. Ph.D. in relevant areas could be counted towards industry experience depending on the thesis.
Must be a US citizen or green card holder
Proficiency with EDA tools: Cadence, ADS, AWR, Ansys HFSS, Sonnet, Momentum, RFPro etc.
Knowledge of GaAs and/or GaN device physics and modeling
Knowledge of PA linearization and efficiency enhancement is a plus
Microwave/millimeter-wave circuit/system design experience
Proficiency with RF/microwave test equipment and measurement techniques, e.g. spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, etc.
Must have excellent teamwork and communications skills
Remote opportunities may be possible for the right person

Shift Type: 1st Shift/DaysThe expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $157,080 to $227,460.
Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors
This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
Benefits for the position includes 10 paid holidays per year, paid vacation starting at 136 hours per year for full-time employees (prorated for part-time employees), and paid sick time that exceeds the requirements of the Washington State Sick Leave law.
