We are looking for a Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Specialist to join a global team and support the operation and continuous improvement of Insider Risk Management processes within an international enterprise environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management activities, ensuring that policies, alerts, investigations, and case management processes are aligned with regulatory, data privacy, and internal governance requirements. You will collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, IT Security, and other global stakeholders while handling sensitive information with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES 🚀:

  • Support the global operation and administration of Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management and related processes.

  • Continuously improve and optimize Insider Risk Management policies, including indicators, thresholds, escalation paths, and operating procedures.

  • Monitor, triage, and document Insider Risk Management alerts and cases in accordance with approved procedures.

  • Support investigation workflows arising from Insider Risk alerts, including evidence collection and analysis of technical logs and relevant data sources.

  • Maintain confidentiality safeguards and ensure appropriate auditability of Insider Risk activities and case information.

  • Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, IT Security, and other business stakeholders to ensure alignment with approved governance standards.

  • Prepare recurring metrics, reports, and status updates covering alert trends, case volumes, process effectiveness, and improvement opportunities.

  • Support testing, validation, change management, and user readiness activities for new or updated Insider Risk policies, features, and procedures.

  • Maintain and update technical and operational documentation related to Insider Risk Management processes.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on process effectiveness, risk reduction, and operational quality.

SKILLS 🤹:

• Experience working with Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management, Microsoft 365 compliance solutions, or comparable Insider Risk / Data Protection platforms.

• Solid understanding of Insider Risk Management concepts, including risk indicators, policy configuration, alert triage, case management, escalation workflows, and audit-ready documentation.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 workloads and signals relevant to Insider Risk scenarios, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, and endpoint activity.

• Strong understanding of privacy-by-design principles, proportionality, responsible investigation practices, and confidentiality controls.

• Experience working with security and compliance processes involving sensitive or confidential information.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to documentation accuracy and process discipline.

• Ability to coordinate across global teams and manage multiple stakeholders in time-critical situations.

• High level of discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive employee-related matters and confidential case information.

• Strong ownership of assigned topics, combined with a proactive and self-directed working style.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with eDiscovery processes.

• Familiarity with Digital Forensics processes and technical investigations.

• Experience working in international and multicultural environments.

• Knowledge of Microsoft security, compliance, and data protection solutions beyond Insider Risk Management.

• Experience participating in change management, testing, and validation activities for security or compliance solutions.

• Strong stakeholder management skills across Legal, Compliance, HR, IT Security, and business teams.

• Experience working in highly regulated or enterprise environments.

• Proactive mindset with a strong focus on confidentiality, quality, and continuous improvement.

SCHEDULE 🕘:

  • 08/09h -17/18h from Monday to Friday (flexible)

  • 100% remote (with availability to travel to Barcelona when necessary)
