Senior Major Account Executive, Carrier Accounts

Location: Germany; Remote

As a Senior Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

• Fostering long term relationships through positioning valued solutions to meet your customers unique needs.

• Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting. Managing contract renewals. Minimising lost revenue and churn.

• Prospecting and acquiring new customers. Upselling & Cross selling the Akamai portfolio to your install base.

• Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure your customers realise the Value of their Akamai services.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have relevant sales experience working with Carrier organisations.

• Have experience selling enterprise-class technology software, SaaS, internet-based technology solutions to large telecommunication companies.

• Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long term planning, selling value at C-Level.

• Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including cyber security, cloud and content distribution networks.

• Have experience working in a collaborative, results oriented environment building executive level relationships with high-level customers.

• Have good written and verbal communication skills.

You will be selling Akamai solutions to existing & new customers within the Carrier Industry. You will be responsible for the full customer life cycle. Working with marketing on lead generation to deal closure, customer management & renewals. Youll be supported by cross-functional internal teams, ensuring success with new customer acquisition & building customer loyalty.
