Role Overview

AdvantixxRCM is building an international contractor network of experienced medical billing and accounts-receivable professionals who can support U.S. healthcare clients from approved countries. This is a remote independent-contractor opportunity, not employment. Assignments, hours, service levels, compensation, currency, and payment terms will be defined in a written contractor agreement or statement of work.

Key Services

• Prepare and submit accurate claims and resolve clearinghouse rejections.

• Perform insurance A/R follow-up, claim-status review, denial research, corrected claims, reconsiderations, and appeals.

• Document all activity accurately in approved systems and escalate timely-filing, authorization, eligibility, coding, payer, or underpayment risks.

• Support payment posting, ERA/EOB review, eligibility, prior authorization, or related RCM work when assigned.

• Meet documented turnaround, quality, productivity, and service-level expectations.

• Communicate professionally with U.S. payers, clients, patients, and the AdvantixxRCM team as authorized.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated medical billing, claims, denial, or insurance A/R experience supporting U.S. healthcare.

• Working knowledge of commercial payers and, where relevant, Medicare or Medicaid.

• Strong English communication, reliable internet, and a private professional workspace.

• Ability to work independently, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to complete skills, reference, identity, sanctions/export, and country-specific compliance review where lawful.

Privacy and Security

Before system access, the selected contractor must sign applicable contractor, confidentiality, HIPAA/data-security, and client documents; complete required training; use approved equipment and systems with MFA; follow minimum-necessary access; and maintain a private workspace. Personal email, personal cloud storage, removable media, unapproved subcontractors, and unauthorized AI or software tools may not be used for company, client, payer, patient, or PHI data.

International Contractor Terms

The contractor is responsible for taxes, registrations, permits, insurance, equipment, and legal compliance in the contractors country unless the written agreement states otherwise. Engagement is subject to worker-classification, data-transfer, sanctions/export, client, payer, and security review. No person is authorized to bind AdvantixxRCM or any client. Availability in a country does not guarantee engagement.

Success Measures

Quality and compliance come before speed. Performance may include claim accuracy, clean-claim results, timely follow-up, denial resolution, documentation quality, productivity, aging reduction, security compliance, and professional communication.
