2020 Companies is seeking a results-driven Manager of Business Intelligence Solutions to lead the creation of impactful client reporting and dashboard solutions. Youll work closely with clients to understand their needs, transforming complex data into actionable insights that power their business decisions. Youll manage the full lifecycle of BI projects, collaborating with BI engineers to ensure developed dashboards perfectly align with client specifications.

Job Description:

Client Service and Stakeholder Leadership

• Serve as the primary BI relationship partner for assigned clients and internal business leaders, building trusted relationships and a thorough understanding of their goals, operating priorities, and service expectations
• Lead discovery sessions and business reviews with senior stakeholders to define business needs, success measures, priorities, and opportunities for BI to improve decisions and performance
• Communicate recommendations, delivery progress, risks, and tradeoffs in business terms; manage expectations and coordinate timely resolution of service concerns and escalations

 

Business Alignment and Solution Planning

• Translate stakeholder needs into clear business requirements, agreed scope, acceptance criteria, and prioritized work for BI analysts, developers, and data engineers
• Maintain a BI solution roadmap for assigned accounts or business functions, balancing client commitments, business value, delivery capacity, and long-term needs
• Partner with technical leads to evaluate solution options, dependencies, and effort; secure stakeholder alignment on priorities and manage changes to scope and timelines

 

Delivery and Service Management

• Establish delivery plans with clear milestones, owners, resource needs, and risks, and coordinate commitments with the teams responsible for execution
• Manage the BI solution lifecycle from discovery and planning through development coordination, business validation, release, training, and ongoing service improvement
• Monitor delivery and service performance against agreed commitments; surface risks early, resolve cross-functional blockers, and keep stakeholders informed of decisions and recovery plans

 

Solution Quality and Business Adoption

• Partner with data and technical teams to confirm data availability, metric definitions, access requirements, and governance expectations for proposed BI solutions
• Coordinate business validation and stakeholder acceptance to ensure solutions are accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose; drive ownership and resolution of identified issues
• Lead adoption planning with business owners, including communications, training, and feedback; assess usage and business outcomes to guide improvements

 

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve client service and operational performance through automation, advanced analytics, AI-enabled capabilities, and more efficient BI delivery practices
• Conduct recurring solution and service reviews with stakeholders to identify unmet needs, simplify existing processes, and prioritize enhancements based on business value
• Partner with analytics and technology leaders to evaluate and pilot new capabilities, establish success criteria, and recommend broader adoption based on demonstrated results

 

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Align account leadership, operations, BI analysts, developers, and data engineers around shared priorities, clear responsibilities, and coordinated delivery
• Coach team members on stakeholder communication, business requirements, and service delivery; promote accountability, knowledge sharing, and consistent client service practices

 

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics consulting, or BI solution delivery, with demonstrated success managing client relationships, engaging senior stakeholders, and leading cross-functional initiatives
• Analytical & BI Skills: Working knowledge of BI platforms such as Power BI, data integration, data governance, and enterprise analytics concepts, with the ability to assess business implications and collaborate effectively with technical specialists
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, working knowledge of Salesforce report building, SQL, and Python
• Client Service and Communication: Strong relationship management, executive presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills; ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and manage expectations, competing priorities, and escalations
• Business and Delivery Acumen: Ability to connect BI investments to business outcomes, manage scope and delivery risks, and guide stakeholders through prioritization and acceptance decisions
• Leadership and Innovation: Proven ability to influence across teams, manage multiple initiatives, and turn stakeholder feedback and emerging capabilities into practical service and solution improvements
