As a Growth Specialist - Psychiatry, you will be at the forefront of that mission, helping us expand into emerging markets and build strong, scalable solutions from the ground up. Reporting to the Psychiatry Growth Manager, you’ll dive deep into what makes new markets thrive—collaborating with marketing, provider recruitment, enterprise, and product teams to craft tailored growth strategies. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about increasing access to care for those who need it most.</p> <h2>What you’ll do</h2> <ul> <li>Lead the <strong>development and scaling of emerging psychiatry markets</strong>—taking them from 0 to 1 by designing localized, replicable growth playbooks. </li> <li>Bring a creative and analytical lens to our referral strategy, helping SonderMind think differently about sourcing and growing psychiatry demand, including through internal referrals, enterprise partners, and new acquisition channels.</li> <li>Partner with <strong>health systems, referral partners, and internal teams</strong> to source new client pathways and expand access to care.</li> <li>Closely <strong>track client conversion trends</strong> and performance across the funnel—following the “yield” to uncover friction points and growth opportunities.</li> <li>Serve as a <strong>market-level spokesperson</strong> for the psychiatry program, helping internal teams understand what we need to be successful.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What does success look like?  </strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Drive revenue and caseload growth in emerging psychiatry markets</strong> by developing and executing scalable playbooks that increase provider yield, fill rates, and overall market penetration.</li> <li><strong>Optimize referral performance and client acquisition</strong> by improving conversion across internal referrals, directories (e.g., Psychology Today), and new acquisition channels—partnering cross-functionally to identify and activate untapped demand levers.</li> <li><strong>By Month 1</strong>, you’ll have fully owned the operational project plan for current psychiatry growth efforts and developed initial hypotheses for accelerating sustainable growth within our existing markets.</li> <li><strong>By Month 2, </strong>you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Payor, Marketing, Recruitment, Credentialing, and Onboarding teams to identify and execute targeted strategies that drive deeper market penetration. This will include uncovering new growth levers for internal referrals and new acquisition channels (NACs).</li> <li><strong>By Month 3</strong>,  you’ll be actively monitoring core performance metrics—yield, referral volume, and client acquisition trends—to refine your growth strategies, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and begin codifying early wins into repeatable tactics.</li> <li><strong>By Month 6,</strong> you’ll be shaping the future state of the Psychiatry Program by defining what scalable success looks like in each market, codifying best practices, and driving alignment across teams to ensure long-term, sustainable growth.</li> </ul> <h2>Who You Are</h2> <ul> <li>3–6 years of experience in health tech, consulting, or a high-growth, operational environment</li> <li>A<strong> bias for action</strong>—you don’t just build the plan, you roll up your sleeves and make it happen</li> <li>Comfortable toggling between<strong> high-level strategy</strong> and <strong>in-the-weeds execution</strong>, often in the same day</li> <li>Proven ability to <strong>develop data-driven hypotheses</strong>, test new ideas quickly, and iterate based on results</li> <li>Strong project management skills with a track record of <strong>driving cross-functional initiatives to completion</strong></li> <li>Experience with <strong>Salesforce</strong> and data analytics tools (e.g., Looker, etc.)</li> <li>Comfortable operating in <strong>ambiguity and moving projects forward</strong> with minimal direction</li> <li>Willing to take <strong>smart risks</strong>, challenge the status quo, and advocate for bold ideas that unlock growth</li> <li>Naturally <strong>proactive, inquisitive</strong>, and motivated by impact</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Our Benefits </strong></h2> <p>The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, and past performance.
