The role will be integral to the People Team in Europe, reporting locally in Spain to the HR Director and will have a strong matrix reporting line to the Sr Director, People Operations based in the USA.  The role is hands-on and has responsibility for administering key aspects of the employment lifecycle covering areas such as payroll, benefits, &amp; compliance for Spain, UK and Ireland.  HR Operations &amp; Employment Compliance Employee onboarding and offboarding  <ul> <li>Prepare Spanish employment documentation (employment contracts, separation agreements).</li> <li>Manage Benefits Administration (enrollment, dis-enrollment, timely settlement of invoices etc) with local benefits providers.</li> <li>Work with People Team Colleagues and Global People Operations to ensure proper update of HR Systems, based on employee lifecycle.</li> <li>Collaborates with Global Onboarding team regarding background check / right to work completion.</li> <li>Coordinate with selected external agencies and Datavant Mobility team to manage work-permit and relocation processes.</li> <li>Europe: works with People Team Colleagues and Global People Operations to ensure all terminations happen on time within HR Systems.</li> </ul> Compliance <ul> <li>Europe: Manage Spain, Ireland, UK specific compliance documentation, SOPs, develop &amp; maintain relationships with HR vendors.</li> <li>Europe: In partnership with Global Employment Legal, HR Compliance,  ensure appropriate processes are in place for ensuring awareness of changes in local regulations. </li> <li>Spain: Research relevant local laws/regulations and develop best practices for onboarding, training, etc.</li> <li>Spain: Act as the point of contact with external labor, risk prevention services, and with the Private Insurance provider, to implement the required policies and activities.</li> </ul> Payroll <ul> <li>Spain: Be directly accountable for Timeliness and Accuracy of pay and disbursements including tax filings. </li> <li>Work directly with an outsourced partner and own the day to day relationship for payroll with partnership and oversight from the Global Payroll Team.</li> <li>Spain:  Responsible for adhering to current and emerging best practices in payroll. </li> <li>UK &amp; Ireland: Collaborates with Global Payroll team and provides support for preparation of payroll files. May work directly with payroll partners on request. </li> <li>Be responsible for adhering to current and emerging best practices in payroll. </li> </ul> HR Operations <ul> <li>Europe: Coordinate HR Systems management (Oracle HCM, Zoho Ticketing, Greenhouse) with US based teams.</li> <li>Europe: Support local requirements for Reporting.</li> <li>Spain: Lead operational integration of the Aetion Barcelona entity into Datavant processes (policies, payroll, benefits, HRIS, reporting).</li> <li>Spain: Lead operational integration of the Aetion Barcelona entity into Datavant processes (policies, payroll, benefits, HRIS, reporting).</li> </ul> Working Time Attendance (Spain) <ul> <li>Manage the Time Attendance System and ensure compliant working time tracking for Spain-based employees.</li> <li>Be the point of contact for all employees questions and ensure employees are properly trained.</li> </ul> Health &amp; Safety Services (Spain) <ul> <li>Manage Registration to the PRL services and to Occupational Health appointments for employees.</li> <li>Be the point of contact for Local Health &amp; Safety regulations to implement the mandatory recurrent policies and activities (i.e. compliance reporting).</li> </ul> Change management &amp; Global Coordination: <ul> <li>Work with Global employment teams to ensure business readiness on changes in EMEA documentation and SOPs (i.e. Employee Handbook).</li> <li>Coordinate HR Systems management (Oracle HCM, Zoho Ticketing, Greenhouse) with US based teams.</li> <li>Create materials for specific local training on HR Systems and processes (slide decks, one pagers, trainings) as required.</li> <li>Support local requirements for Reporting.</li> <li>Participate in operational integration of the Aetion Barcelona entity into Datavant processes (policies, payroll, benefits, HRIS, reporting). </li> </ul> What you will bring to the table: <ul> <li>Bachelor or Master’s degree in Administration, Labour Relations or Human Resources.</li> <li>5+ years of HR Operations experience (including payroll management) in Spain.</li> <li>5+ years of HR Operations experience for UK &amp; Ireland.</li> <li>Native level Spanish.</li> <li>Proficient/Fluent in English (Oral and Written).</li> <li>Detail oriented.</li> <li>Analytical skills (e.g. great Excel skills).</li> <li>Problem solving skills.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills and strong business orientation.</li> </ul> Bonus points if you have: <ul> <li>Experience in Oracle HCM.</li> <li>Experience in Greenhouse ATS.</li> </ul> *We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one.
