As a senior accountant, you will perform accounting for key accounting areas, including revenue recognition, deferred revenue, lease accounting, and capitalized software development costs. You will work closely with the accounts receivable specialist and accounts payable specialist to ensure proper revenue accounting is applied to customer transactions and proper GL coding is applied to vendor bills and credit card transactions. You will also be a key contributor to the timely and accurate monthly accounting close cycle. If you love the excitement of a fast-paced, startup environment where you will have the opportunity to learn and grow then this position would be a good fit for you!</div><h3>You Will Be</h3><ul><li>Owning the general ledger, ensuring timely recording and accuracy of every balance on the general ledger. Key areas include revenue recognition, deferred revenue, sales tax, and fixed assets at customer sites</li><li>Owning the balance sheet reconciliations and subledgers, ensuring a full understanding of the detail amounts and the validity and accuracy of the amounts that make up the balances</li><li>Owning the sales tax process, ensuring accurate sales tax calculations and timely filings.
