If Braze sounds like a place where you can thrive, we can’t wait to meet you.</div>WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Senior Accountant II to join our growing Finance team and support our expanding global business.  You will: <ul> <li>Be a key member of the General Ledger team</li> <li>Ensure accurate and timely monthly close</li> <li>Assist with audits and SOX compliance.</li> <li>Drive process improvements and efficiency through system optimization.</li> </ul> This role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Accounting and offers exposure to the senior Executives on the Corporate Accounting team.  WHAT YOULL DO <ul> <li>Play an essential role in the month-end and quarter-end close processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and supporting reconciliations.</li> <li>Ensure financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP</li> <li>Perform monthly analytics to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements.</li> <li>Coordinate and support statutory compliance and audits for international entities.</li> <li>Partner with FP&amp;A and Accounts Payable teams for accurate expense coding.</li> <li>Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and resolve transaction issues.</li> <li>Contribute to the optimization of existing financial platforms.</li> <li>Document accounting policies and procedures. </li> <li>Support financial audits and SOX compliance.</li> <li>Contribute to ad hoc analyses and special projects..</li> </ul> WHO YOU ARE <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance</li> <li>4+ years of relevant accounting experience </li> <li>Big 4/ or large regional firm experience a plus</li> <li>CPA and/or MBA a plus</li> <li>International accounting experience a plus</li> <li>SaaS or Technology industry preferred</li> <li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP &amp; general SOX understanding</li> <li>Highly organized, results-driven, and works well in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills,</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace</li> <li>Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, Floqast, Numeric or other comparable ERP systems preferred).</li> </ul> For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $110,000 - $125,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $125,000 - $135,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
