If this sounds like you, wed love to hear from you!   Job Overview: This is a dynamic, high-touch role in our team that is responsible for many areas of accounting and reporting in our growing company. The Senior Accountant will be a key contributor to the monthly financial close process with a strong focus on revenue recognition, specializing in journal entries, account reconciliations and analyses with efficiency and accuracy. This position will report to the Senior Accounting Manager.   Roles &amp; Responsibilities | What youll do: <ul> <li>Contribute to global month-end close process to ensure timely, accurate financial data that is in compliance with US GAAP and accounting policies</li> <li>Analyze and reconcile revenue accounts in accordance with ASC 606</li> <li>Accurately prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, summarize activity and resolve reconciling differences; areas of focus include accounts receivable, prepaid expenses and fixed assets</li> <li>Compile and submit VAT returns for UK subsidiary</li> <li>Perform trend and variance analysis</li> <li>Liaise with cross-functional colleagues to communicate financial results by department </li> <li>Recommend and implement improvements to existing systems and processes</li> <li>Assist with preparation of audit schedules and respond to questions posed by auditors</li> <li>Assist with other ad hoc general ledger projects</li> </ul>   Experience | What youll bring: <ul> <li>Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience</li> <li>2-3 years working experience within U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and familiarity with internal controls and process improvement</li> <li>Strong systems skills including Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus)</li> <li>Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions</li> <li>Strong work ethic and capacity to accomplish tasks independently</li> <li>Superb oral and written communication skills</li> <li>Experience successfully working in a highly collaborative manner across a variety of business functions</li> </ul>   This is a full-time remote role.
