This role will play a critical part in managing the financial close process, streamlining operations, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and regulations. The Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and external auditors to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities: - Financial Close and Reporting: <ul> <li>Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.</li> <li>Prepare and review financial statements and management reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or relevant standards.</li> <li>Review monthly accounting entries and reconciliations</li> <li>Manage intercompany reconciliations and consolidations.</li> </ul> - Process Optimization and Control: <ul> <li>Drive process improvements in the R2R function to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.</li> <li>Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial data and mitigate risks.</li> <li>Leverage technology and automation to streamline accounting processes.</li> </ul> - Compliance and Audit: <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Liaise with internal and external auditors, facilitating audit processes and addressing audit findings.</li> <li>Maintain proper documentation for financial processes and controls.</li> <li>Stay informed on industry pronouncements, emerging trends, and developments in accounting, and SEC regulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accounting insights and recommendations.</li> </ul> - Team Leadership and Collaboration: <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.</li> <li>Foster a collaborative work environment across finance and non-finance teams.</li> <li>Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment on accounting and reporting objectives.</li> <li>Collaborate with business and functional leaders, including Controllership, Revenue, FP&amp;A, SEC reporting, Tax, IT, and Internal Audit to coordinate information flow and drive operational excellence and robust controls to deliver a high quality and timely clos</li> </ul> - Strategic Initiatives: <ul> <li>Support strategic initiatives, including ERP implementation, and financial transformation projects.</li> <li>Provide insights and analysis to support business decisions.</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA preferred.</li> <li>Minimum of 7 years progressive accounting experience</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years of a supervisory or managerial experience</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley, COSO, and financial reporting standards.</li> <li>Proven experience in managing the R2R process and implementing process improvements.</li> <li>Experience working at a publicly traded company is preferred.</li> <li>Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Netsuite) and financial reporting tools.</li> <li>Highly technical, with the ability to research new and emerging accounting guidance and draft accounting policies</li> <li>Possess excellent analytical skills, business partnering, problem solving and prioritization skills.</li> <li>Able to work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work autonomously and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li> <li>Strong work ethic and team player.</li> </ul> #LI-Remote<div>Xometry is an equal opportunity employer.
