This is an excellent opportunity for a law student with a keen interest in estate planning, tax law, and the intersection of law and technology. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced legal tech environment, contributing to the development and maintenance of our legal content and product features.</span></div><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Assist with legal research on various aspects of estate planning, probate, trust administration, and federal and state tax laws (income, gift, estate, GST).</li><li>Review and analyze legal documents, statutes, regulations, and case law across all U.S. jurisdictions.</li><li>Support the legal team in drafting and updating legal content, including internal legal memoranda, templates, and marketing materials.</li><li>Contribute to the legal accuracy and compliance of our estate planning software solutions.</li><li>Assist with special projects related to AI, product development, and legal compliance.</li><li>Participate in team meetings and discussions, offering insights and contributing to problem-solving.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Currently enrolled in an accredited Juris Doctor (J.D.) program.</li><li>Demonstrated coursework or strong interest in estate planning, trusts and estates, and/or tax law.</li><li>Excellent legal research and writing skills.</li><li>Ability to analyze complex legal issues and communicate findings clearly and concisely.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Prior experience in a legal setting or a technology company is a plus, but not required.</li></ul><h3>What We Offer:</h3><ul><li>Valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic legal department.</li><li>Exposure to cutting-edge estate planning technology and legal solutions.</li><li>Mentorship and guidance from experienced legal professionals.</li><li>The opportunity to contribute to a product that makes a real impact on financial advisors and their clients.</li><li>A collaborative and innovative remote work environment.</li></ul><div><span>Wealth is an equal opportunity employer and encourages people from all backgrounds to apply.
