We leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis to create long-term business strategies and help execute on Waymo’s commercial deployment. The team is analytically driven, with a proactive mentality, focused on finding and delivering on high impact projects.</span></p> <p>This role follows a hybrid work schedule and reports to the Senior Director of Strategy &amp; BizOps and Product Data Science.</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Commercial performance measurement and analysis to ensure Waymo is on track to achieve its commercial goals</li> <li>Coordinating and executing on Waymo’s go-to-market strategy - experienced in leading various GTM strategy projects with broad scope and executional and/or operational experience</li> <li>Conducting rigorous qualitative or quantitative analysis and effectively distilling insights (“so what”) from them </li> <li>Cross-functional coordination - aligning various perspectives and inputs from technical and commercial functions</li> <li>Advanced business modeling and analysis such as value driver and scenario analysis responsibilities </li> <li>Distilling insights and recommendations for leadership</li> </ul> <p>You Have:</p> <ul> <li>Operational experience is critical and at least 8+ years experience doing this</li> <li>Structured problem solving - knows how to solve ambiguous problems, can up-level, doesn’t get lost in details </li> <li>Analytical skillset - comfortable with various modes of quantitative analysis (e.g. financial modeling, data analytics, SQL), and capable of presenting up-leveled insights for executive audiences</li> <li>Strong relationship building and communication skills </li> <li>Background: familiar with project based work, frequent shift of focus and topics, learning new content quickly (typical for consulting or bizOps functions in tech companies) </li> <li>Commercial marketplace experience  </li> </ul> <p>We Prefer:</p> <ul> <li>Experience running commercial performance measurement </li> <li>Consulting, banking or operational background + experience in a tech company, especially with products that have offline component </li> <li>Experience in relevant industries (e.g., Ride Hailing, Trucking, Delivery)</li> <li>Experience with commercialization /  go-to-market strategy or execution (e.g., pricing) </li> </ul> <p> </p><div><div><div><p><span>The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
