Lead the migration of our platform and create a new, scalable environment from scratch. Youll have complete ownership over tooling and the CI/CD pipeline in a startup-like setting. This is for a hands-on, self-starter who thrives on balancing performance, cost, and reliability.</span></div><h3>What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li><b>Lead the architectural vision. </b>Youll provide deep expertise in cloud architecture, design patterns, and modern programming to build a highly scalable and reliable infrastructure.</li><li><b>Drive DevOps best practices</b>. Youll implement a robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy, using tools like Terraform and Ansible to manage, deploy, and scale our infrastructure. </li><li><b>Build the CI/CD pipeline.</b> Youll design and manage end-to-end CI/CD workflows, automating processes to make our development lifecycle across Development, QA, Stage and production deployments more efficient and seamless.</li><li><b>Ensure platform reliability. </b>Youll focus on the core pillars of reliability—durability, availability, performance, and correctness—to minimize the risk of failures.</li><li><b>Shape the future of our stack. </b>Youll recommend and implement architectural enhancements, security policies, and new methodologies that will define how we operate.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li><b>Experienced DevOps Professional:</b> You have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role, with a strong focus on automation, tooling, and building distributed, scalable systems.</li><li><b>AWS Expertise:</b> You have extensive experience in designing and implementing deployment architectures within the <b>AWS cloud environment</b>. You have a deep understanding of core AWS services like <b>VPC, EKS, EC2, IAM, S3</b>, and more.</li><li><b>Containerization &amp; Orchestration:</b> You have hands-on experience designing and deploying applications using <b>Kubernetes</b> and other container technologies.</li><li><b>Infrastructure as Code (IaC):</b> You are skilled in using IaC tools like <b>Terraform</b> or <b>Ansible</b>.</li><li><b>CI/CD &amp; Git:</b> You are an expert in <b>GitLab</b> and have experience with continuous integration tools like <b>Jenkins</b> or <b>GitLab CI/CD</b>.</li><li><b>Monitoring &amp; Observability:</b> You have solid understanding with monitoring frameworks for tracking system health and performance. Experience with <b>Grafana, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch</b> is a plus.</li><li><b>Location:</b> This role requires you to be in the <b>PST or MST</b> time zone.</li><li>Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States.
