The ideal candidate will have proven skills in financial modeling, strategic assessment, and M&amp;A due diligence, along with the curiosity and strategic thinking needed to identify important factors that may never fit on a spreadsheet. In addition, the Manager, Corporate Development will work with key cross-functional partners and must be comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders.This is a US Hybrid role located in our San Francisco office.What you will do: <ul> <li>Work with senior executives and product leads to develop strategies and identify acquisition and investment opportunities that accelerate Oura’s mission</li> <li>Maintain relationships with startups, VCs, investment bankers, and leading technology companies to stay up to date with competitive landscape and inform pipeline generation</li> <li>Develop and maintain the deal pipeline, including outreach to and sourcing of new opportunities</li> <li>Evaluate the benefits and risks of potential transactions and manage the process of building both internal and external consensus</li> <li>Act as a subject matter expert on valuation, including discounted cash flow analysis, accretion/dilution analysis, and business case modeling</li> <li>Drive the execution of M&amp;A and strategic investments throughout the deal process, including sourcing opportunities, performing financial analysis, negotiating deal terms, and coordinating all aspects of due diligence and integration in coordination with cross-functional partners across product, engineering, legal, and other key stakeholders</li> <li>Establish the ongoing processes, skill sets, and strategy that will enable Oura to continue to build out our corporate development competency, in the face of extremely fast growth and a rapidly changing industry</li> <li>Collaborate with the broader Finance team to develop and drive deeper understanding of KPIs and implications on performance and valuation, particularly as they relate to corporate development initiatives</li> <li>Assist with the preparation of board and investor relations materials, highlighting corporate development strategies and their impact on long-term value creation</li> </ul>We would love to have you on our team, if you have: <ul> <li>7+ years of relevant work experience, including corporate development, investment banking, venture capital or private equity</li> <li>Experience creating and analyzing M&amp;A processes for a wide variety of transactions</li> <li>History of successfully completing end-to-end negotiations</li> <li>Very strong analytical and communication skills</li> <li>Experience at a technology company or startup</li> </ul>
