We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team and oversee payroll operations in the APAC region. This role requires extensive knowledge of regional payroll regulations and practices. The specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of payroll processes.<h1>Key Responsibilities</h1><ul><li>Assist with the oversight of payroll operations across multiple countries within the APAC region.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local payroll laws and regulations in each APAC country.</li><li>Process payroll accurately and timely, including calculations, deductions, and adjustments.</li><li>Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to address payroll-related queries and issues.</li><li>Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll data integrity and compliance.</li><li>Prepare and submit required payroll reports to government authorities.</li><li>Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations within the APAC region.</li><li>Communicate and address clients payroll concerns and inquiries directly.</li><li>Perform month-end payroll closing tasks, such as recording journal entries and reconciling accounts.</li><li>Implement and improve payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency. </li></ul><h1>Required Skills and Qualifications</h1><ul><li>Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within the APAC region.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations in APAC countries.</li><li>Proficiency in payroll software and systems.</li><li>Proficient in MS Office.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Fluency in English; additional language skills pertinent to APAC countries are a plus.</li><li>Certification in payroll management is preferred.</li></ul><h1>Working Conditions</h1><ul><li>Full-time position.</li><li>Based in the APAC region.</li><li>Flexible working hours may be required to accommodate regional time zones.</li></ul>About Kroll  Join the global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions—Kroll.
