Job Family:Management Consulting Travel Required:Up to 50% Clearance Required:None<div><div>Job Posting</div></div><div>What You Will Do:Guidehouse is seeking a Portfolio Manager to manage a portfolio of our Energy Efficiency/Electrification programs (multiple locations available). This position requires experience with developing and delivering Energy Efficiency (EE), electrification and/or decarbonization solutions as well as team and partner management of various functional groups (internal and external), client, and stakeholders. The Portfolio Manager will build and maintain relationships for our state and local government clients. This individual will also lead the planning and implementation of energy efficiency rebate programs.  Essential Job Functions &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead coordination with Guidehouse market teams and the national team to support the development of EE, electrification and/or decarbonization solutions that can be scaled across our the Guidehouse client base.</li><li>Support the development and shaping of opportunities in collaboration with the market teams to meet bookings goals</li><li> Lead development and pricing for solution (i.e., pre-sales calls, project scope definition, RFP responses, client presentations, statement of work development, resource planning, budget estimating (top-down and bottom-up)</li><li>Participate in the negotiation of contract and provide input to the market teams during SOW development and potential changes/enhancements to scope.</li><li>Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams (delivery, solutions, engineering, marketing, analytics, managed services, financial services, software development, partners) typically consisting of 20+ people as part of program execution.</li><li>Build, manage and maintain client relationship and expectations, work to resolve project issues, proactively identify project risks and make recommendations for resolution to ensure project success throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Develop relationships and/or manages sub-contractors or vendors including deliverables, resources and budgets.</li><li>Coordinate and lead internal and external meetings with internal teams, clients, partners and diverse stakeholders (all levels including leadership)</li><li>Ensure solution aligns with client program goals, and client needs/overall business objectives.</li><li>Provide leadership and mentoring to team members on project development and client management skills.</li><li>Provide ongoing feedback and input into future solution needs and enhancements.</li><li>Develop a comprehensive understanding of program design and delivery best practices both for efficient execution and proper budget management.</li><li>Forecast and track portfolio-level budgets while maintain a resource plan aligned with the budget to ensure goals are met.</li><li>Train teams on planning and implementation best practices for specific solutions</li></ul> What You Will Need:<ul><li>Due to nature of client engagements, must either be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field.</li><li>Require 5+ years of total professional working experience.</li><li>Experience working in the energy industry and or state and local energy programs.</li><li>Solid understanding of energy efficiency measures for residential homes and multi-family housing.</li><li>Solid understanding of federal, state, or local rebate/grant programs for residential and/or multi-family end users.</li><li>Knowledge of low-to-moderate income energy or state/federal programs.</li><li>Knowledge of economic analysis in developing business cases for businesses to implement energy efficiency measures.</li><li>Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding multi-million-dollar business development and managed revenue targets.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams, providing feedback, mentoring, and coaching team members.</li><li>Knowledge and experience with project management practices and techniques.</li><li>Startup mentality, resourceful and self-motivated.</li><li>Ability to coordinate diverse program stakeholders both internal and external.</li><li>Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment across multiple business units and stakeholders (all levels).</li><li>Excellent verbal, interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills.</li><li>Strong analytical, creative problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.</li><li>Excellent leadership and management skills.</li><li>Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Must have a passion for customer satisfaction and have the ability to deliver on customer’s needs and expectations while meeting Guidehouse objectives.</li><li>Ability to travel including overnight travel, depending on client or project needs.</li><li>Ability to work onsite at a Guidehouse Office or Client Office location.</li><li>Staff level of hire will be determined through Guidehouse interview process.</li></ul>What Would Be Nice To Have:<ul><li>Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.</li><li>Management consulting experience in energy industry (excluding Oil &amp; Gas) and or State &amp; Local Government (SLG) with engagements related to energy programs.</li><li>Successful business development experience in the Energy industry (excluding Oil &amp; Gas) and or State &amp; Local Government (SLG) energy programs.</li></ul></div>The annual salary range for this position is $102,000.00-$170,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
