This role will be responsible for driving design excellence on the technical side of the craft — ensuring our consumer-facing experiences are usable, scalable, and of the highest quality. You will collaborate with design leadership, cross-functional partners, and engineers to deliver outstanding product experiences across our marketplace, discovery flows, and attendee touchpoints.</p> <h3>YOU WILL</h3> <p><strong>Leadership &amp; Vision</strong></p> <p>Partner closely with the design leader to co-create the vision and strategy for consumer design, focusing on technical depth and craft execution.</p> <p>Act as a thought partner to product and engineering, influencing roadmaps and priorities.</p> <p>Serve as a mentor and role model, raising the bar for craft quality and helping other designers grow.</p> <p><strong>Product &amp; Design Craft</strong></p> <p>Deliver high-quality, user-centered design solutions across mobile, web, and app environments.</p> <p>Translate insights and data into elegant and impactful product experiences.</p> <p>Drive design excellence by championing best practices in interaction design, accessibility, usability, and visual design.</p> <p><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></p> <p>Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to shape holistic strategies.</p> <p>Communicate design decisions with clarity and influence across different levels of the organization.</p> <p>Ensure that consumer experiences reflect both user delight and Eventbrite’s marketplace ambitions.</p> <p><strong>Creative and Technical Guidance</strong></p> <p>Push the boundaries of interaction design, ensuring solutions are innovative, accessible, and scalable.</p> <p>Lead by example in areas like responsive frameworks, design systems application, prototyping, and motion/interaction patterns.</p> <p>Collaborate closely with engineers to bridge design and implementation, ensuring pixel-perfect and technically feasible outcomes.</p> <p>Champion accessibility, usability, and performance as core pillars of every consumer experience.</p> <p>Stay ahead of emerging tools, technologies, and design practices, bringing forward ideas that advance the craft and elevate the team.</p> <h3><strong>THE SKILLSET</strong></h3> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products, ideally in B2C or marketplace contexts.<br /><br /></li> <li>A strong portfolio that demonstrates excellence in interaction and visual design, along with strategic problem-solving.<br /><br /></li> <li>Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives, from discovery and definition through execution and iteration.<br /><br /></li> <li>Experience working autonomously while providing leadership and guidance to peers.<br /><br /></li> <li>Comfortable navigating ambiguity and setting direction in complex product areas.</li> </ul><div><div><div><p><span><strong>PAY TRANSPARENCY</strong></span></p> <p>The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
