In this role, you’ll gain senior leadership exposure through highly visible system initiatives, and you’ll directly influence how millions of people experience Dropbox on mobile.</span></div> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li><span>Lead the definition, design, and documentation of reusable iOS-focused design system components, patterns, and guidelines.</span></li> <li><span>Collaborate with product designers to ensure consistency across features and platforms while meeting platform-specific needs.</span></li> <li><span>Partner with engineering to build, test, and deliver robust design system components.</span></li> <li><span>Drive adoption of the design system through education, governance, and advocacy across cross-functional teams.</span></li> <li><span>Ensure accessibility and inclusivity standards are embedded within system components and workflows.</span></li> <li><span>Contribute to the design system roadmap, identifying opportunities for scalability, efficiency, and innovation.</span></li> <li><span>Participate in design reviews, audits, and QA to ensure consistency and fidelity in implementation.</span></li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li><span>6+ years of experience in product design with a strong focus on mobile-first consumer applications.</span></li> <li><span>Deep expertise in </span><span>iOS design language</span> <span>(Human</span><span> Interface Guidelines, UIKit, SwiftUI patterns)</span><span> and familiarity with Android conventions.</span></li> <li><span>Proven experience designing, scaling, and maintaining </span><span>design systems</span><span> or component libraries.</span></li> <li><span>Proficiency in modern design tools</span> <span>(Figma,</span><span> tokens-based workflows, documentation platforms like Storybook/Zeroheight).</span></li> <li><span>Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional partners</span> <span>(engineering,</span><span> product, brand).</span></li> <li><span>Demonstrated ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility in system-level decisions.</span></li> <li><span>Strong portfolio showcasing iOS product design and design system work.</span></li> </ul> <div> <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li><span>Experience working on high-scale mobile products with large user bases.</span></li> <li><span>Familiarity with accessibility standards</span> <span>(WCAG)</span><span> and inclusive design practices.</span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of design-to-code handoff pipelines and design tokens.</span></li> <li><span>Experience mentoring designers or contributing to design culture.</span></li> <li><span>Interest or background in visual asset systems</span> <span>(iconography,</span><span> motion, or illustration).</span></li> </ul> </div> <div> <div> <h2><span>Compensation</span></h2> </div> </div><div><div><div>Canada Pay Range</div><div><span>$160,700</span><span>—</span><span>$217,300 CAD</span></div></div></div>
