About the Role: Demandbase is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team. This is a critical leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, AI-driven B2B SaaS environment and is passionate about building operational rigor and driving transformational impact and change. In this role, you will be the force behind enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment, communication, and flawless execution across the company. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning <ul> <li>Partner with the CEO to define and execute the company’s strategic vision and annual priorities.</li> <li>Leverage data-driven insights and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.</li> </ul> Enterprise Program Management <ul> <li>Lead high-priority projects on behalf of the CEO.</li> <li>Establish and maintain project management frameworks that drive decision-making, alignment, and accountability.</li> </ul> Operational Excellence <ul> <li>Oversee the development and execution of operational processes and programs, such as OKRs, Horizon Planning, and QBRs.</li> <li>Ensure consistent accountability and tracking across the business.</li> </ul> Executive Team Support <ul> <li>Collaborate closely with the CEO to prepare for key meetings and conferences.</li> <li>Act as connective tissue between the CEO and E-team, driving alignment and fostering consensus.</li> </ul> Cross-Functional Collaboration <ul> <li>Partner closely with the Communications team to ensure consistency in narrative across CEO communications, E-team updates, and company-wide messaging,etc.</li> <li>Act as a trusted partner to functional leaders.</li> <li>Foster collaboration and alignment on company-wide initiatives, ensuring priorities are well-communicated and executed.</li> </ul> Management of Executive Assistant Team <ul> <li>Manage and develop the administrative team to maximize their effectiveness and productivity. </li> <li>Ensure smooth operations and communication within the executive office.</li> </ul> Internal Events <ul> <li>Oversee planning and execution of key internal events such as All-Hands meetings, offsites, and leadership summits.</li> <li>Partner with functional leaders to ensure events foster engagement, alignment, and cultural reinforcement.</li> <li>Drive consistency in messaging and ensure these events reflect the company’s vision and priorities.</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in consulting, finance, strategic planning, or similar project management experience in a technology company.</li> <li>Strategic &amp; Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven track record of applying data-driven insights to shape business decisions and outcomes.</li> <li>Leadership &amp; Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without direct authority, and build strong relationships across diverse stakeholders.</li> <li>Executive Communications: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and distill complex information into clear, concise messaging.</li> <li>Detail-Oriented with Strategic Perspective: Strong attention to detail while maintaining the ability to connect insights to broader strategic goals.</li> <li>Operational Expertise: Hands-on experience managing company-level operating rhythms such as OKRs, QBRs, and Board communications.</li> <li>Program &amp; Project Management: Proven ability to scope, lead, and deliver multiple complex initiatives in fast-paced environments, ensuring accountability and high-quality outcomes.</li> <li>Technology Industry Knowledge: Proven track record with strategic and operational planning in technology or SaaS organizations, or equivalent management consulting experience.</li> <li>Action-Oriented &amp; Adaptable: Proactive, resourceful, and flexible, with a “no task is too big or too small” approach to driving execution.</li> <li>Interpersonal skills: Exceptional emotional intelligence and discretion in managing executive-level relationships and organizational dynamics.</li> </ul> Preferred: <ul> <li>MBA or equivalent.</li> <li>B2B SaaS background.</li> <li>2 + years of experience with team leadership/management.</li> </ul> Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and financial security.
