About the Role: We’re looking for a Software Engineer II focused on reliability, scalability, and performance to strengthen CoreWeave’s data platform. You’ll design, build, and operate the storage and compute systems that support enterprise analytics and AI workloads. This includes owning our data lake and clustered compute environments, building observability and performance frameworks, and ensuring that our data infrastructure is secure, efficient, and self-healing. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about building reliable distributed systems at scale. Who You Are: <ul> <li> 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Helm, with deep understanding of container orchestration and distributed systems. </li> <li> 3+ years of programming experience in Go, Rust, Python, C++, C#, or Java. </li> <li> 3+ years of scripting experience in Python or Bash for automation and operational tooling. </li> <li> Strong understanding of data storage, distributed compute, and service reliability principles. </li> <li> Experience with Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Grafana for monitoring and alerting. </li> <li> Experience administering scaled deployments of Spark, Ray, Kafka, Flink, or similar on Kubernetes is preferred. </li> </ul> Preferred: <ul> <li> Familiarity with large-scale observability and performance frameworks. </li> <li> Experience implementing automation for deployment, monitoring, and capacity management. </li> </ul> Wondering if you’re a good fit? The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation.
