<div><b><u>Summary</u></b></div><div><br /></div><div><span>As a Staff Accountant at CFGI, you will be part of the finance team in executing key accounting functions that ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial reporting. This includes participating in the monthly close process, preparing financial statements, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.</span></div><div> </div><div><b><u>Key Responsibilities</u></b></div><div><br /></div><div><u>Monthly Close &amp; Financial Reporting</u></div><div>·<span>       </span>Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and reclasses.</div><div>·<span>       </span>Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances.</div><div>·<span>       </span>Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</div><div>·<span>       </span>Maintain and update supporting schedules for key balance sheet and income statement accounts.</div><div>·<span>       </span>Ensure timely and accurate month-end close in accordance with the close calendar.</div><div><u>Account Reconciliations &amp; Analysis</u></div><div>·<span>       </span>Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.</div><div>·<span>       </span>Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.</div><div>·<span>       </span>Assist in variance analysis and provide explanations for differences.</div><div><u>Compliance &amp; Internal Controls</u></div><div>·<span>       </span>Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.</div><div>·<span>       </span>Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation.</div><div>·<span>       </span>Assist in maintaining and improving internal control processes and documentation.</div><div><u>General Accounting Support</u></div><div>·<span>       </span>Assist with tax filings, including sales/use tax and 1099 reporting.</div><div>·<span>       </span>Support process improvement initiatives and special projects.</div><div><br /></div><div><b><u>Qualifications</u></b></div><div><br /></div><div>·<span>       </span>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus</div><div>·<span>       </span>1–3 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment</div><div>·<span>       </span>Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control principles</div><div>·<span>       </span>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems)</div><div>·<span>       </span>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail</div><div>·<span>       </span>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</div><div>·<span>       </span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</div><div>·<span>       </span>Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach to work</div><div> </div><div>*For this position, we are requiring that the selected candidate be local to one of our 16 domestic markets. While there is no in-office requirement for this position, we would like the employee to take part in social calendars and be able to collaborate with local team members, partners, and other administrative staff in their respective geography.</div><div><br /></div><div><span>CFGI is dedicated to offering our employees strong and inclusive total compensation packages. Offer packages are based on several factors, such as the specific role and level being hired for, location, as well as the individuals skills, experiences, and qualifications. The good-faith estimated base salary range for this position is: $50,000 - $70,000. In addition to the base compensation, CFGI offers a competitive benefits package and various bonus programs and incentives, based upon an individual’s level and overall work performance.   </span></div>
