(Note: For EpiSci job openings, fully remote work will be considered by exception.)</em></p></div><h2>About the role</h2> <p>We are looking for a hardware integration engineer to work directly with our hardware team on the buildout, testing, maintenance, and deployment of our hardware assets. This involves working across software and hardware to ensure that the full system is integrated together seamlessly when it needs to be delivered to the customer.</p> <h2>At Applied Intuition, you will:</h2> <ul> <li>Deliver full-system features that span software and hardware that meet customer requirements</li> <li>Directly interact with the customers to identify the target use-cases, then manage the project to complete the integration</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with the product, software, mechanical and electrical teams to develop and deploy systems</li> <li>Develop a deep understanding of the entire system architecture and how the software and hardware components interact</li> <li>Design and bring up test rigs needed for end-to-end testing and validation of system performance</li> <li>Test and troubleshoot integration between various components to ensure reliability</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Were looking for someone who has:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science in mechanical, electrical or related ﬁeld </li> <li>2+ years of experience in hardware/software integration or development</li> <li>An understanding of electronic systems and how how to setup and debug them</li> <li>Experience with developing or testing software applications</li> <li>Familiarity with Linux development and Bash scripting</li> <li>Ability to get US security clearance</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Nice to have:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Python or other programming languages</li> <li>Familiarity with ROS and Linux OS</li> <li>Familiarity with programming microcontrollers/microprocessors</li> </ul><div><p><em><span>Don’t meet every single requirement?
