We have been driving the industry forward since 2015, and with more than 8 million miles completed to date, we are leading a new era of safe, reliable, efficient, and sustainable transportation.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>Who You Are:</b></div><div><br /></div><div><span>Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in our accounting operations and financial closes, including performing account reconciliations, assisting with consolidations and intercompany entries, maintaining the general ledger, and supporting audits.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>What Youll Do:</b></div><div><br /></div><div><span>• </span><span>Perform accounting functions, including, but not limited to recording, reconciling, and analyzing G/L accounts transactions</span></div><div><span>• </span><span>Play an integral part in the month-end close process by booking journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and conducting flux analysis</span></div><div><span>• Responsible for revenue accounting entries for month/quarter-ends</span></div><div><span>• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead efforts to implement process changes</span></div><div><span>• Operate independently for process improvements and lead efforts to implement process changes</span></div><div><span>• Initiate processes and streamline existing processes for efficiency and to sustain future growth of the company</span></div><div><span>• Participate in projects and initiatives related to existing or new process/implementations as needed</span></div><div><span>• Complete external audit requests, tax requests as well as ad-hoc requests from other part of the organization</span></div><div><span>• Support all Company initiatives as identified by management</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>What You Bring To Zūm:</b></div><div><br /></div><div><span>• 6-10 years of hands-on working experience in accounting</span></div><div><span>• A mix of venture-backed and medium to large publicly listed cleantech, software or SaaS companies, and Big 4 experience is highly desired</span></div><div><span>• Strong system knowledge, preferably Netsuite </span></div><div><span>• You are a Critical Thinker with the ability to understand issues, proactively resolve problems and can identify process improvements and efficiencies.</span></div><div><span>• Attention to detail, organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement</span></div><div><span>• Ability to effectively manage critical deadlines</span></div><div><span>• “Self-starter with a can-do attitude and a serious desire to have a positive impact on our company</span></div><div><span>• Strong day-to-day project management skills</span></div><div><span>• Strong verbal and written communication skills</span></div><div><span>• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, yet function well with independent responsibilities</span></div><div><span>• BA/BS degree in Accounting</span></div><div><span>• CPA certification is desired but not necessary</span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>The targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of equity or commissions.
