Our experts develop cutting-edge technology for the next-generation AD/ADAS platform, building components deployed to both Cloud and vehicles. The team is responsible for the in-vehicle map servicing architecture, efficient processing of map data, and providing the map data to the AD/ADAS applications. We apply state-of-the-art technology, write high quality safety-critical code that gets deployed to production.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?</b></div><div><span>・An experienced Senior Software Engineer for  Autonomous Driving with &gt; 5 years of experience</span></div><div><span>・Expert knowledge in writing modern, high-quality, safe C++ code targeting Embedded applications</span></div><div><span>・Strong background in Embedded (preferably Automotive), with a proven track record in bringing software to production</span></div><div><span>・A great team player with passion to innovate and deliver a product to the customer</span></div><h3>RESPONSIBILITIES</h3><ul><li>Design, architect and implement components of the AD/ADAS stack</li><li>Development of C++ software components for Autonomous Driving and Mapping Applications</li><li>Integration and qualification of software modules in terms of safety, performance and computing resources</li><li>Work with other teams on the successful deployment to the target hardware and Cloud-based SiLS</li><li>Reviewing and approving deliveries according to the specifications, requirements and milestones</li><li>Oversee, monitor and optimize computing budgets of the software stack</li><li>Team mentorship, guidance, technical leadership and decision making</li></ul><h3>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</h3><ul><li>Expert knowledge in modern C++ development (C++14 or higher)</li><li>Strong experience in modern Python</li><li>Experience with build automation software, such as CMake or Bazel</li><li>Expertise in POSIX-compliant operating systems, for example Linux or QNX</li><li>Experience in designing software architectures and bringing them to production</li><li>Ability to independently make decisions based on project priorities and scope</li></ul><h3>NICE TO HAVES</h3><ul><li>Experience in Automotive-related mapping applications, such as navigation or ADAS</li><li>Experience with Automotive Protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP)</li><li>Familiar with modern ARM-based SoC architectures</li><li>Familiar with Functional Safety/ISO 26262</li><li>Experience working in large, distributed international teams</li><li>Business level Japanese</li></ul><div>=========================================================================</div><div><b>Important Points</b></div><div><span>・All interviews will be arranged via Google Meet, unless otherwise stated.</span></div><div><span>・The same job descriptions are available in both English and Japanese; therefore, we kindly ask that you apply to only one version.</span></div><div><span>・We kindly request that you submit your resume in English, if possible.
