<p><b>About this role:</b></p><p>Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Network Engineer with enterprise experience engineering, developing and implementing large scale DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) and Time Services (NTP, PTP) solutions.</p><p><br /><b><b>In this role, you will:</b></b></p><ul><li>Lead the review, resolution and implementation for the most complex technical issues and initiatives related to large scale network applications, data systems, voice and other technical products and services</li><li>Use and create diagnostic, simulation and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems</li><li>Evaluate or review queries to extract data, create standard procedures, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supported</li><li>Research performance trends and recommend process improvements</li><li>Perform complex migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and configurations</li><li>Make decisions in security and regulatory policies to design and implement foolproof secured network solutions</li><li>Assess changes for risk to production systems and assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas</li><li>Identify gaps in current technology processes and recommend changes to assure Service Level Agreements can be supported</li><li>Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals</li></ul><p><br /><b><b>Required Qualifications:</b></b></p><ul><li>5+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education</li></ul><p><br /><br /><b><b>Desired Qualifications:</b></b></p><ul><li>Deep understanding of DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management (IPAM), and Network Time Protocol (NTP) systems, including architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management.</li><li>Experience designing and implementing scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions for core network services.</li><li>Advanced scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation of log rotation, data collection, error handling, and alerting.</li><li>Hands-on experience with synthetic transaction development for proactive monitoring of infrastructure and applications.</li><li><span><span><span>Experience mentoring and guiding less experienced staff.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Experience with DevOps and CI/CD automated build and deployment processes.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Advanced scripting skills specifically around log rotation, data collection, error collection and alerting.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Experience designing, developing, and implementing synthetic transactions for the monitoring of applications and/or infrastructure.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Knowledge and understanding of implementing infrastructure upgrades, security patches, or version upgrades.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Knowledge and understanding of logging and monitoring tools.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Experience with and the ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced technology and/or information security organization, within a large enterprise environment.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Proven experience with change and incident management practices in medium to large enterprise environments.</span></span></span></li></ul><p><br /><b><b>Job Expectations:</b></b></p><ul><li><span><span><span>Ability to work onsite in the office in a hybrid model, 3 days per week on-site/in-office and 2 days per week remote</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Remote work is not available for this position</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Visa sponsorship not available for this role </span></span></span></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Pay Range</b><br /> </p><p>Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
