<p><b>About this role:</b></p><p>Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the Workplace Technology End User Compute Platform Operations Team. This role will be instrumental in shaping and leading a high-performing operations team, working closely with product owners and principal engineers to deliver a scalable, secure, modern desktop and mobility platform across the enterprise.</p><p><br /><b><b>In this role, you will:</b></b></p><ul><li>Support &amp; troubleshoot operating system, network, infrastructure and application related issues.</li><li>Manage and optimize device provisioning workflows with Autopilot, Intune, and SCCM, analyzing system &amp; deployment logs to identify root causes or implement corrective actions.</li><li>Support large-scale enterprise desktop migrations on all environment such as virtual, physical and cloud.</li><li>Collaborate with security teams to integrate endpoint protection products - CrowdStrike, Defender, Symantec Endpoint Protection and BitLocker.</li><li>Collaborate with secure network teams when issues arise with compute + VPN, proxy, and firewall-related issues impacting endpoint performance.</li><li>Configure and manage device policies, conditional access, and compliance using a variety of tools including Intune, Entra and GPO.</li><li>Use SRE principles to monitor and analyze endpoint performance and user experience via Aternity, ThousandEyes, Prometheus, Splunk, Graph and KQL.</li><li>Develop and maintain manual &amp; automation scripts using PowerShell, Python and Ansible.</li><li>Implement self-healing and telemetry-based alerting mechanisms for proactive issue resolution.</li><li>Lead operational support and continuous improvement initiatives for enterprise desktop and mobility platforms.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to design and implement efficient platform support strategies.</li><li>Drive the transition of the enterprise device fleet to modern cloud-managed endpoints.</li><li>Oversee the deployment, configuration, support and lifecycle of:<ul><li>Windows 11 physical devices</li><li>Apple macOS devices</li><li>iOS and Android mobile devices</li><li>Windows 365 Cloud PCs</li><li>Citrix &amp; VMware virtual desktops</li></ul></li><li>Ensure platform reliability, performance, and security across hybrid, remote, and in-office environments.</li></ul><p><br /><b><b>Required Qualifications:</b></b></p><ul><li>5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education</li><li>5+ years of enterprise desktop engineering experience with Windows 10/11 &amp; Apple OSX</li><li>5+ years of enterprise operations for mobile iPhone &amp; Android devices &amp; operating systems</li><li>Proven experience in maintaining on-prem, PaaS &amp; SaaS compute infrastructure used for enterprise endpoint management</li><li>Enterprise expertise or familiarity with scripting or programming in languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, C#, .NET, Java, YAML or similar</li><li>Hands-on experience managing compute in Microsoft Azure, Entra, Intune, SCCM</li><li><span>Hands on experience using the following environments, products and technologies: Aternity, 1K Eyes, Prometheus, Graph, KQL, Splunk, Google Cloud, Global Protect, Broadcom WSS, CrowdStrike, Defender, Symantec Endpoint Protection, BitLocker, SecureDoc WinMagic</span></li><li>Proficient in reading, deciphering and using diagnostic logs as a mean of troubleshooting</li></ul><p><br /><b><b>Desired Qualifications:</b></b></p><ul><li>Strong leadership and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams</li><li>Possesses core Site Reliability Engineering skills</li><li>Enterprise support on virtualization desktops such as Citrix &amp; Windows 365 Cloud PCs</li><li>Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM)</li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Job Expectations:</b></b></p><ul><li>24X7 rotated on call.
