Your responsibilities will extend to effective collaboration with both internal teams and external vendors.</p> <p><em>Please note that this role may involve occasional international travel.</em></p> <h3><strong>Reports to</strong></h3> <p>Global Infrastructure Director</p> <h3><strong>What will you do?</strong></h3> <p>Internal virtualization and containerization platforms operations:</p> <ul> <li>Server and storage hardware planning, installation, and operation. Tasks include component deployment and operations with automation tools and GitOps. </li> <li>Assist with hardware procurement based on customers’ requirements, guiding with cost-effective solutions.</li> <li>Be responsible for the availability, performance, security, and reliability of the infrastructure at all stages of the service life cycle.</li> <li>Contribute to internal team services, improve automation processes, and services observability.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience in Dell and HPE servers and storage systems, deployment, and operations.</li> <li>Work experience with VMware vSphere virtualization platform.</li> <li>Basic experience with Veeam Backup systems.</li> <li>Professional work experience with Linux and Windows systems, and system administration-related tasks.</li> <li>Experience in troubleshooting applications at the system and network levels.</li> <li>Understanding how modern systems and network protocols work.</li> <li>Basic understanding of principles and experience with containerization tools (for example Docker, etc).</li> <li>Basic understanding of the principles and experience with Kubernetes orchestration.</li> <li>Basic understanding of CI/CD methodologies and experience with tools (for example, GitLab, Argocd, or others).</li> <li>Basic experience with automation tools and scripting, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or others.</li> <li>Basic experience with various monitoring systems (for example, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or others).</li> <li>English level is from Pre-Intermediate.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What additional skills will help you stand out?</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Expertise in building large-scale, high-volume, secure, efficient, and resilient environments.</li> <li>Experience using Bash and Python for routine operations and automation.</li> <li>Experience in making decisions with minimal supervision.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Work mode</strong></h3> <p>Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)</p> <p>Remote from Poland</p> <p> </p> <h3><strong>Type of Contract</strong></h3> <p>Employment Contract (umowa o pracę)</p> <p> </p> <h3><strong>Benefits</strong></h3> <p>Benefits and perks are tailored to the local market and culture.
