We partner cross-functionally to deliver high-scale migrations that meet strict SLAs, reduce operational overhead, and reinforce client trust through automation and reliability. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>6+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 10+ years of relevant work experience. </li><li>Programming Languages: Proficient in Golang, Java and/or Groovy with the ability to work in other languages.</li><li>Version Control: Advanced Git usage, supporting team members in resolving issues.</li><li>Debugging &amp; Bug Resolution: Skilled in identifying and resolving bugs across team and adjacent scopes.</li><li>Code Review: Expert in reviewing code for quality, identifying potential issues, and suggesting improvements that consider cross-domain impacts.</li><li>Testing: Proficient in writing unit, integration, and manual tests. Capable of validating impacts on interconnected applications and performing end-to-end testing.</li><li>Documentation: Experienced in using Swagger, creating flow diagrams, and documenting APIs. Supports DEVEX team in mapping and publishing documentation externally. Promotes documentation culture and produces architectural diagrams as needed.</li><li>Architecture &amp; Standards: Advises on best practices and solutions, aligning with Pismo’s validated standards and patterns.</li><li>Product Ownership: Deep understanding of team products actively participates in feature discussions, prioritization, and impact analysis across teams.</li><li>Infrastructure &amp; Deployment: Skilled in resource creation using Terraform, application configuration, and deployment using Argo, Jenkins, and Codefresh. Understands integrations with Goalkeeper and infrastructure pipelines.</li><li>Containerization &amp; Orchestration: Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes, including local setup, debugging, and cluster configuration. Supports SRE teams in advanced operations.</li><li>Database Design: Strong knowledge of relational databases and ability to define strategies for non-relational databases.
