We are the team that supports the company’s data-driven decision-making and enables other teams to work effectively with data.What youll do<ul><li>Design, build and maintain scalable and automated data pipelines</li><li>Support analytics and machine learning workflows across different teams</li><li>Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform</li><li>Ensure data quality, security, and governance throughout our systems</li><li>Optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to model data for business intelligence and strategic insights</li><li>Orchestrate data pipelines using tools like Airflow</li></ul>This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.<h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>For this role, you must be based in Brazil</li></ul>Minimum qualificationsLanguage Skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in English at B1 level (Intermediate)</li></ul>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Advanced SQL skills for manipulating and analyzing large-scale datasets</li><li>Proficiency in Python focused on automation, data analysis, and API integrations</li><li>Strong experience with Databricks, including notebooks, Delta Lake, and integrations</li><li>Solid knowledge of AWS services:<ul><li>Glue (serverless ETL)</li><li>Athena (serverless SQL queries)</li><li>S3 (data storage)</li></ul></li><li>Lambda (serverless function execution)</li><li>Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code</li><li>Proficient in Git for version control and team collaboration</li><li>Strong understanding of BI and data modeling for visualization and strategic analysis</li><li>Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)</li><li>Background working with high-volume data and performance-focused environments</li><li>Familiarity with modern data architecture (e.g., Data Lakehouse, medallion architecture)</li></ul>Nice to have<ul><li>Experience with Machine Learning and AI tools such as:<ul><li>AWS Bedrock (generative and foundational models)</li><li>AWS SageMaker (ML model creation, training, and deployment)</li></ul></li><li>Knowledge of DataOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3>Visa is an EEO Employer.
