The squad’s goal is to manage public cloud, improve DevOps practices, and monitor Versana’s real-time syndicated loan data platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure cloud services, cloud-native applications, distributed computing, Infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD implementation, and observability tools and practices.</div><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead the architecture, development, documentation, and ongoing optimization of cloud standards, methodologies, and operational processes.</li><li>Design, implement, and administer Azure EntraID, ensuring robust identity and access management across the organization.</li><li>Oversee the deployment and management of Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions to streamline and secure authentication processes.</li><li>Proactively monitor cloud environments, develop comprehensive incident response strategies, and establish observability frameworks to provide actionable insights into system performance and reliability.</li><li>Utilize advanced observability and event management practices to improve incident management KPIs, including reducing mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to restore (MTTR) services.</li><li>Foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance and evolve the organization’s cloud adoption roadmap and strategy.</li><li>Continuously research and assess emerging technologies, identifying innovative applications to drive business value and maintain a competitive edge.</li><li>Analyze and manage cloud costs, providing accurate forecasting and optimization recommendations.</li><li>Provide expert support for cloud infrastructure upgrades and releases, including participation in scheduled weekend maintenance windows.</li><li>Lead the planning, implementation, and validation of disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity and resilience.</li></ul><h3>Must Haves:</h3><ul><li>5+ years of relevant industry experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure Services, networking and cloud architecture principles.</li><li>Deep knowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM) concepts and platforms.</li><li>3+ years of work experience with public cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).</li><li>3+ years of experience on infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform.</li><li>2+ years of experience in at least one coding language such as Bash, Java, JavaScript, Python, GoLang, or .NET.</li><li>2+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.</li><li>1+ years of experience in development and management of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Gitlab CI/CD, Github Actions, Jenkins, etc).</li><li>Experience with messaging services like Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, etc.</li><li>Good understanding of the Linux operating system.</li></ul><h3>Nice to Haves:</h3><ul><li>Certifications in Azure cloud technologies.</li><li>Experience with Azure AD B2C.</li></ul><div><b>Equal Opportunity Employer</b></div><div><br /></div><div>We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.</div><div><br /></div><div>This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.</div>
