A Brief Overview The US LBM Site Reliability Engineer - Application Development will be ensuring the reliability, scalability and performance of our web/mobile applications and custom integrations running on Azure. Additionally, this person will play a key role in implementing and managing DevOps practices to streamline our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes. What you will do <ul><li>Design, implement and maintain highly available and scalable systems to ensure 24/7 uptime for our applications.</li><li>Develop and maintain dashboards that provides key metrics such as volume, latency, availability and error rates</li><li>Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to incidents promptly.</li><li>Conduct blameless postmortem of incidents, identify root cause and help implement no repeat plans</li><li>Automate repetitive tasks and processes in development and support to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention</li><li>Conduct load test, identify performance bottlenecks and implement performance tuning and optimization techniques</li><li>Implement and maintain security best practices</li><li>Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps</li><li>Setup prod/non-prod environments</li><li>Lead and manage software releases. Monitor and validate successful deployments.</li></ul> Required For All Jobs <ul><li> Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li> Comply with all policies and standards.</li><li> Adheres to Company’s commitment to workplace safety.</li></ul> Education Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelors Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or relevant experience. </li></ul> Experience Qualifications <ul><li> 4+ years of proven experience in Site Reliability and DevOps </li><li> 4+ years working in a team supporting highly available web/mobile applications </li><li> Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services </li><li> Experience in version controls systems, and CI/CD pipelines </li></ul> Skills and Abilities <ul><li>Expertise in Azure services such as Azure monitor, Application Insights and Prometheus/Grafana. </li><li>Strong experience in integrating APM platforms such as Datadog for Monitoring and Observability </li><li>Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes </li><li>Strong knowledge of system/infrastructure fundamentals </li><li>Proficiency in scripting languages such as python, Bash or Powershell </li><li>Mastery of creation of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Terraform </li><li>Proficiency in developing server-side components using C# </li><li>Expertise in SQL, Relational Database systems and NO SQL databases. </li></ul> .
